Mission

To educate individuals who considering the multidimensional with intellectual aspects, generating ideas, sharing, using and offering; taking reference to our cultural values and interpretting with a view to appropriate to principles of contemporary art history that values; can reveal the unique culture and art history researches.

Vision

• To implement and maintain the principles of modern education taking into account the curriculum of art history programs in both our country and abroad,
• Being a continuously evolving department about raising equipped students by supporting the practical drawing lessons in architectural and decorative arts to basic vocational courses,
• Contribute to increased public awareness for introduction, protection and keep the values alive of material cultural heritages in our country via research and projects, especially Sakarya and the environment.
