Our department was established within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on 2002, 02.11 in line with the main objectives to provide the Art History education in accordance with the Art History discipline and to contribute to the study of cultural history of Sakarya region.
Graduate programs in the fall semester of 2006-2007, undergraduate programs in the fall semester of 2011-2012 and PhD programs opened in the same period of 2013-2014 as Department of Art History continues education and training with 2 associate professors, 2 doctor lecturers and 5 research assistants.
